Welcome to the HIV Justice Academy Chat, which you can use as long as you are registered with the Academy. We encourage you to use it both for your own reflections, but also to learn from and to help other learners – just as we should support each other in our advocacy. It’s through communities of practice such as this that we will be most effective.
Translations:
As we are a global community, people will be chatting in many languages.
- You can enter your message in your own language.
- You’ll see that above each message from other people is a ‘Translate’ option. Select this and it will be translated into the language you have selected for the Academy.
- Alternatively, you can change your ‘Preferred language’ and when you select ‘Translate’, it will use that instead.
How to use the chat:
- If you want to change the information that is displayed about you, go to the Account page (using the button at the top of the screen) to update your profile settings.
- Please remember to read and follow our community guidelines.
- Take care about what you write, as it is not possible to edit or delete your messages.
- If you are chatting about a particular part of a course, remember to mention what you are referring to.
- You need to have registered to take a course in the Academy to have access to the chat. If you have not registered, you will not be able to see any of the chat from other people.
Contacting us:
- For support or help with the Academy, please check the Help section first, but otherwise you can email us at academy@hivjustice.net.
